How the Election Was Stolen

"The row over voting and counting procedures in last week's Zimbabwe parliamentary election escalated yesterday when the US embassy in Harare issued a tough statement detailing a long list of irregularities," reports the Financial Times. "At the same time the opposition Movement for Democratic Change produced its first detailed comment on the way in which it says the election was 'stolen'."
